Consulting services are provided based upon our experience, specialized training, and expertise specifically to help and mentor our clients for the execution of contract activities for the construction, repair, and targeted replacement activities at; CANDU Nuclear Facilities, Research Reactor/Isotope Facilities, Nuclear Waste Management Facilities, Pipelines, Refineries, and Naval Vessel Repair Facilities as it applies to Regulatory Requirements and unique knowledge of; materials, welding application and techniques, NDE Examination, qualification, and program requirements.

Consulting services provided by ND Technical Services is synergetic with our other three pillars of success to ensure that our client successfully delivers on their contract in accordance and in full compliance to the applicable standards, codes, and additional requirements as mandated by the end-user to ensure safe operation of the facility.

Pressure Boundary Programs

ND Technical Services Consultants are subject-matter engineers who are industry-acknowledged for their practicum and knowledge of the CSA Pressure Boundary Standards, and ASME Pressure Vessel Codes obtained by years of industry involvement reinforced by continuous training and upgrading at the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.

ND Technical Services can:

  • Provide expert opinion on CSA Standards, and ASME Code matters
  • Support clients during the application process for nuclear, and non-nuclear certification,
  • Offer relevant technical feedback to ensure pressure boundary compliance,
  • Support clients undergoing internal or external audits

QA AND PROCEDURE Programs

ND Technical Services has the knowledge and experience in:

  • Supporting our clients in developing their QA manuals and procedures that govern the essential code requirements in accordance with;
    • ASME CA-1. ASME QAI-1, ASME NQA-1, ASME Section III, Subsection NCA, and the applicable ASME Nuclear and Non-nuclear Construction Codes,
    • CSA-N285.0, CSA N285.4, CSA-B51
  • Ensure that our clients QA Manual remain current, and the related activities are being performed are controlled effectively by the user,
  • The requirements and controls required for materials, design, fabrication & installation, examination, testing, responsibilities, quality assurance, authorized inspection, and records etc.
  • Providing training on the development and preparation of QA manuals and procedures.
